Dream hotel will anchor Miami development

Dream Hotel Group will break ground in 2022 on a hotel in downtown Miami.
The 10-story, 165-key Dream Miami at Riverside Wharf is slated to open in 2025 and will be part of a 200,000-square-foot, dual-tower complex along the Miami River.
The hotel will feature six dining and nightlife venues highlighted by a 30,000-square-foot rooftop pool deck and nightclub. Additional amenities will include a 10,000-square-foot event hall, fitness and wellness facilities and a private marina that can accommodate large yachts.
The project will be led by Miami-based developer MV Real Estate Holdings in conjunction with Driftwood Capital and designed by Jon Cardello of Miami-based CUBE3 architects with landscape design by Savino-Miller Design Studios.
The Dream Miami will anchor the $185 million, 1.5-acre Riverside Wharf development, replacing what is now known as Wharf Miami, which currently includes entertainment venues and the popular Garcia's Seafood Grille & Fish Market, which is expected to remain.
Plans for the development of the area along the Miami River as an entertainment and hospitality district were approved in a 2016 voter referendum.
The Dream brand has hotels in New York, Los Angeles, Miami Beach, Bangkok and Nashville.
